About
Grief is not a sign that something has gone wrong. It is what love does when someone is gone.
Carrying It is a set of guides and worksheets for anyone who is grieving. Most of it is written with the death of someone close in mind, but much of it applies to other losses too.
The ideas draw on How to Carry What Can’t Be Fixed (2021), a grief journal by the writer and therapist Megan Devine. The words, examples and worksheets here are new, and written for readers in India. The stories are composites, and the names are invented.
These pages are for reflection. They are not therapy, and they do not replace a doctor or counsellor. If you are struggling to get through the days, please reach out. Tele MANAS is free and open day and night on 14416. In an emergency, call 112.
